NRW2024 Materials Released for Use at Home, School, and Work
Theme: "Now More Than Ever" Emphasizes Continued Fight for Justice and Rights
Canberra, Australia - The National Reconciliation Week (NRW) Committee has announced the release of its 2024 resources, which are now available for download and use across the country. This year's theme, "Now More Than Ever," underscores the ongoing need for cooperation and action in the pursuit of justice and the recognition of the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
NRW2024 will be commemorated from May 27 to June 3, 2024. The resources, which can be accessed at the NRW website, provide a range of educational materials and activities designed to foster understanding and promote reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
"These resources are an essential tool for individuals, schools, and organizations that are committed to creating a more inclusive and just future for our nation," said Reconciliation Australia CEO Karen Mundine. "We encourage everyone to use these materials to learn more about our shared history and to play a role in building a better future for all Australians."
