Troubleshooting Fire TV Remote Issues
Unplug and Reconnect Your Fire TV
If your Fire TV remote is not working properly, the first step is to unplug your Fire TV from the power supply and HDMI input. Wait for 60 seconds, then plug your Fire TV back in. This will reset the remote and may resolve the issue.
Unplug the Power Cable
If unplugging your Fire TV doesn't work, try unplugging the power cable from the remote itself. Wait for 1 minute, then plug the power cable back in. The LED on the remote should turn green, indicating that the remote is now in troubleshooting mode.
