Baltimore Orioles Update Fan Policies
Clear Bag Policy
Beginning with the 2023 baseball season, a clear bag policy will be in place at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The policy is designed to enhance public safety and expedite fan entry into the ballpark. According to the Orioles, the new policy mirrors those of many other Major League Baseball stadiums.
Permitted and Prohibited Bags
Fans are permitted to bring the following clear bags into the stadium:
- Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc or similar)
- Small clutch bags (4.5" x 6.5"), with or without a strap
Bags that are not clear or that exceed the size restrictions will not be permitted. This includes backpacks, duffel bags, purses, and diaper bags.
Other Prohibited Items
In addition to the clear bag policy, the Orioles have also prohibited the following items from being brought into the stadium:
- Alcohol
- Outside food and beverages (except for factory-sealed, non-alcoholic beverages)
- Weapons of any kind
- Firearms
- Explosives
- Illegal drugs
- Laser pointers
- Noisemakers
- Umbrellas
- Pets (except for service animals)
Fans are encouraged to leave prohibited items at home or in their vehicles. Any items that are confiscated at the stadium will not be returned.
Metal Detectors
In addition to the clear bag policy, metal detectors will also be in use at all gates of Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Fans will be required to pass through the metal detectors before entering the stadium.
The Orioles encourage fans to arrive early to allow extra time for the security screening process.
