The Washington Huskies pulled off a major upset on Saturday, defeating the Michigan Wolverines 31-29 in a thrilling game that went down to the wire. The Huskies, who were a 14-point underdog, controlled the game from start to finish and never trailed. Washington's offense was led by quarterback Michael Penix Jr., who threw for 397 yards and four touchdowns. Running back Wayne Taulapapa also had a big day for the Huskies, rushing for 120 yards and a touchdown.

Michigan's offense struggled all game long. The Wolverines were held to just 298 yards of offense and were unable to get anything going in the passing game. Quarterback Cade McNamara was just 11-for-24 passing for 130 yards and an interception. Running back Blake Corum was the only bright spot for Michigan's offense, rushing for 111 yards and a touchdown.

The game turned in the fourth quarter when Washington scored a touchdown to take a 31-20 lead. Michigan answered back with a touchdown of their own, but the Huskies were able to hold on for the win.
